Passing By

Transpassing the exhibition
looking for a bronze sculpture
by A. Rodin
of a lady
made nearly 100 years ago
in this lady’s salon,

they pass by
a black-and-white photograph
– no artist involved here –
of a lady
transpassing the Syrian mountains in 2012
hoping to find anything
but a lady’s salon
with cake for tea and young dreamers lying on the brown diwan

– unnoticed –

Kunsthalle Mannheim, November 2013
